Hardworking, logical and witty. These are the three qualities that Sarah wishes Samer had. We're just kidding. They're all true. Samer and Tof have been friends since 8th grade. They went from two chubby middle schoolers to two chubby football players to awkwardly shaped married men. Samer's favorite things are dark humour, his wife Sarah and his Corgi Pita. Samer will balance the shit out of a book. A man of many talents: Samer's replacing Tim Allen in Home Improvement. He can make a mean brisket and give you some real Kosher financial advice.

Sultan Ferdawsey. Yak Qadam Pesh. From the mountains of Kandahar, Northern Virginia has been both blessed and cursed by this man. One of history's greatest trolls. Sultan's parents were offered with the choice of having a handsome son or Afghan Nikola Jokic and they chose the former. Athletic, charming and wise, Sultan is one of Tof's most loyal and trusted friends. The two can have deep conversations about a wide range of topics and have inside jokes that might get your twitter reported. Ask Sultan about Magic Johnson. When he's not playing volleyball with Wealthy Chinese families, he's found at local cafes debating Ronaldo fans.
Ubaid Rahman

Ubaid has an uncanny ability to make you argue against your own position in a debate. He's created a wonderful body of work in helping companies grow. When Ubaid isn't looking up ways to make the 40 under 40, he's driving through California wildfires. Ubaid and Tof have an incredibly deep friendship. They formed a great bond over their long drives over the Potomac River and DC. Tof acted as Ubaid's therapist because God knows he needed it. And Ubaid acted like Tof's big brother because he likes being people's big brother. Ubaid's heart is humongous but unfortunately his laugh will remind you of that time you were bullied by Chad in middle school. There are so many great things to say about Ubaid. So we wont.

Shadmoney aka the nova crypto king. Brilliant, adorable and built like a running back for Dhaka City FC. Tof and Shadman share a beautiful bond being the eldest sons of Bangladeshi immigrant families. Shadman is always willing to help people. He's an incredible listener. Funny, quirky and just an all around good time. Tof and Paul have been close since their middle school days. At one point, they were contemporary superheroes for Bealuh Street. Paul taught Tof how to Dabke and Tof taught Paul how to bhangra and make grilled chicken. Paul is one of Nova and Beirut's finest products. A true Lebanese golden retriever with a bit too much sauce for his slim frame. If you need a discount Santi Cazorla, Pauly B is your man.

The man. The myth. The legend. One of the funniest humans to ever walk on this planet. When he's not hitting the shimmy in Adams Morgan, he's raising awareness for crucial causes. He's an incredibly kind soul with a heart of gold. If this man was a genre, he'd be smooth jazz. Charismatic, mysterious and a man of many talents, Nahom still holds the title of number 1 taxi driver DC behbi.
Ahmed Alani

Tall, handsome and mysterious. Ahmed was voted most likely not to show up to the wedding for the 8th year in a row. Ahmed is logical, hard-working and extremely persistent. We gave him the nickname "seeds" because the first day we met him, he wouldn't stop offering us snacks. Tof's relationship with Ahmed is a deep one. Tof appreciates Ahmed's ability to provide clarity in confusing situations and Ahmed appreciates Tof's ability to make him laugh and ask interesting questions. The book in his profile picture actually has no words, just pictures.
Duke Perry

Intelligent, curious and incredibly versatile. Duke truly has a great heart. He wants to make the world a better place. A lover of science, anime and gaming, if Duke is playing with the Nintendo Switch in the middle of the dance floor, do not be alarmed. He's pwning. Duke is a wonderful person to vent to. He loves philosophical questions and puzzles. He hates small talk and Florida.

What happens when you mix Sopa De Caracol and Beshamel? You get Omar god-damn Deghidy. Omar is a man of little words but when you offers you a couple sentences, you better listen. Omar is quirky, funny and extremely sharp. Tof made Omar their personal family lawyer. Omar is extremely romantic and likes long walks on the beach. He can also make a mean biryani.

A true New York legend. Chris is the life of the party. He's loyal to a bone and extremely easy to talk to. His favorite thing to do is offer a helping hand, watching NYC sports and Chelsea bottle. Chris feels like home. He can do all the handy work around the house, be your auntie's favorite DJ and is every parent's favorite friend. The only flaw with Chris is if you insult his teams, he turns into a New York City bouncer. Do not question Eli Manning's rings or Larry the Geologist will hurt you.
Umais Khan

If you drive through Richmond highway, you pay taxes towards Brother Umais. Umais has a heart of gold and the roasting ability of someone from around the way. On top of being Handsome, saucy and stylish, Umais is an incredibly fun person to be around. Umais sports extremely high emotional intelligence and is an incredible poet. Umais is one of the best humans to vent to because he will not only help you reach a solution, he'll give you multiple angles on how to attack a problem. His only downside is he's uncannily busy on Sundays.

First thought when this man walks into a room: "Oh no. Dear God no!" Aakash is extremely charismatic, funny and confident. He can walk into any situation and disarm everyone. His major flaw is his laugh keeps powering up more laughs. Aakash is smart, calculated and scared of the dark. When he's not creating data pipelines for IBM, he's going on dates like he's got a premium subscription of Indian Matchmaker and Seema auntie on speed dial. Aakash didn't know he was Indian until 2017 but since then, he hasn't stopped sneaking butter chicken into his backpack.

When she's not on an Amazon shopping spree or taking hours to order taco bell, she's watching One Piece or vlogging for the gorls. Mickey didn't realize she was a girl until about 13 Since then she has blossomed into a beautiful woman who is never afraid to speak her mind. One of the most compassionate and sincere individuals Meshals has ever met. The two have been best friends since third grade and have shared a coca cola addiction since then. To this day they will regift their favorite childhood snacks to each other every birthday which contains cookies n cream Hershey bar, RIPS and you guess it, a bottle of coke. Meshal's first taste of Bengal. When Meshal crosses the line, Mickey quickly plays the auntie card. Yes you heard us right. In some odd turn of events, Mickey has somehow become Tof's auntie. We won't explain.
Tara Malik

Meshal's favorite cousin that speaks English without an accent. Tara is smart, straightforward and probably most likely to run away from the country. It's giving virgo. Nobody quite knows what Tara is ever doing or why she's 3 hours late to everything. The two of them weren't always best friends, they were once rivals. From Tara breaking Meshal's favorite childhood churiya to Meshal pretending to drown Tara, the two of them have come a long way. Tara makes incredible tomato soup and is one of the only reasons Meshal was allowed to have fun growing up. Tara and Mesh had their first hug a few years ago. Tara is one of the best people in the world and is going to make a great Khala some day.

Mahum cries when Meshal's food taste too good. She cried when Tof and Mesh got engaged. Again when they got nikkah'd. Again when she saw them at Huqqa lounge that one time. One of the most senti queens there is. But a truly loving and kind soul. She's a lover of latin culture. It's giving mixed. Mahum is well-versed in South-Asian cultural studies and linguistics, so she can tell somebody they're not shit in multiple languages. She's incredibly reliable and always down to get brunch with Meshal no matter what's happening. Please ask Mahum's mom for baby pictures.

Meshal met Maleeha when she was 4. From what Mesh remembers, Maleeha was crying because she thought Mesh didn't wanna be besties. Maleeha can be best thought of as Meshal's baby sister. One of the only people Meshal will ever make orange pasta for on command. Maleeha and Mesh share a deep and powerful bond. Maleeha has been there for Meshal in some of her toughest moments and is always pushing Meshal to be the best version of herself. Maleeha has a beautiful cat name Klaus and probably one of the only cats Meshal would pet if held at gunpoint. The two also share a deep love for Real Housewives of Miami because it's the only way they can channel their inner cuban baddie. Ask them about their khaleeji kaftan era in a few years.

Henry. Oh Henry. When he's not bullying Fariha about her lack of TayTay knowledge. Apparently Fariha doesn't know the designers behind her costumes. Henry and Meshal have been going to cafe Rio every Tuesday for the past however many years. The two of them have deep meaningful convos and are each other's biggest hype-men. As much as Henry loves Meshal, his love for Tof goes a few levels beyond. Meshal and Henry have been besties since high School. Nobody asked but Hasta el Amanecer is their song. He's the only person in the world who won't let Meshal leave snapchat. He says he'll die if that 600 day snap streak breaks. Como se Dice butterfly.

Fariha is a wonderful story-teller. She's the only person who can turn a 5 minute event into a short novel. If there's a boujee trendy spot nearby, Fariha will force the girlies to go. Meshal and Fariha have been friends since 10th grade. Fariha is the driving force behind some of Meshal's most wild and vivid memories. When Fariha is in the zone, she's one of the funniest humans alive. If TayTay's in town, Fariha will find her. Please avoid asking Fariha about the monster under her bed or the time she broke into her own house. Meshal and Fariha share some of their favorite college memories. From making Meshal try french fries at every single spot in nova to Fariha dj'ing on their car rides home, Fariha is a box full of surprises. #KaraokeQueen

Nadia is perpetually always late because she's busy filming a grwm. Meshal and Nadia share a strong love of beauty products and spending their paychecks on them. Nadia is an extremely caring and graceful individual. She's one of the main reasons Tof and Mesh are together in the first place (We love you queen). Meshal's favorite thing to do is make Nadia snort from laughter. She's the definition of "ugh guys, I really needed this." after a great hangout sesh with the girls. You can see the amount of love Nadia has in her heart by the way she pours so much into teaching young children. Ask Nadia about what her cats say when she's not home.

A talented baker, homemaker, teacher, school administrator and corgi mom, Sarah and Meshal have already decided that they want to have kids at the same time. The two share a common annoyance because they both ended up marrying two extroverts. Sarah and Mesh share a strong love for anything related to spooky season and christmas time. Sarah and Mesh also share a similar social battery and they both know when is the optimal time to bounce for some R&R. Sarah is Meshal's favorite person to go on double dates with and one of her favorite people to vent too. Sarah is an incredibly caring friend and always has Meshal's back.

Meshal and Anku became friends because both of their mothers were already close. They were both forced on a playdate at a wedding and bonded over Anku's love for Harry Styles and Meshal's love for Trey Songz (Cancelled). The two realized that they have a lot of similarities. They're both sassy and spunky punjabi queens. Anku is a strong independent woman who is always pushing herself to grow. She's a lover of traveling and if Meshal was allowed to travel she'd be right there with her. Meshal and Anku had a phase where all they'd do is listen to Mickey Singh and dream about how some day, someone would bhangra into their lives.

Tori and Meshal first became friends since middle school. The first two things Tori said to Meshal were "you're so pretty." and "why are you the most Pakistani latina ever?" then went and immediately updated her sims of this interaction. Tori was voted most likely to take a bite out of your food and take the rest of it especially if there is any sign of avecado in it. She's one of the most easiest people to talk to. Tori was recently elected as the mayor of Herndon. She's one of the most incredibly empathetic, sentimental and nostalgic people Meshal has ever met. She'll tell you whether your moon is rising or falling just by taking one look at you.

Meshal was incredibly hurt when she realized Jasmine's last name isn't pronounce Go-mez. Even though Jasmine is a flight risk and might go ghost for a few months, she's an incredibly reliable and loving friend. The two used to mall lunch dates and they've been through a little too many hair colors together. Jasmine has a 90% ownership stake over all orange mint shisha sold around the globe. She's incredibly funny and is an even better dancer. Please do turn on bollywood music near Jasmine first thing in the morning.

When Faezah first met Meshal, she didn't quite know if she liked her. But then one afternoon, when she heard Meshal speak punjabi, Dhaler Mehndi started playing in her head. From kissing Meshal on the cheek randomly in the halls of Lewis High School to being banned from Brookfield Plaza. They've been through every era of transforming from girls to woman together. Faezah has a deep fear of eggs and you're not allowed to say the word around her. Faezah once asked a waitress at Cheesecake factory: "are cheeseburgers are made from Buffalo?" Faezah and Meshal found commonality in their fear of animals. Faezah is an incredibly kind and caring friend who is always taking the time out to plan pasta or cheesecake dates. When Faezah opens up to you, you're going to die laughing. Please do not take your phones out around her.

She is always ready to ask all of the funniest questions that no one will ever answer. The only person that will always have hope for the plans to make it out of the group chat. She will even create itineraries for a walk to the park if you ask nicely . The two of them became friends not too long ago, but have shared some magical moments and very special milestones.
