Our Alma Mater. Our love story began at this university back in August of 2018. There are so many beautiful and peaceful places to stroll through on campus. Start at the place where we spent the most time, the Business Building. Work your way up the Promenade, around to the church and back down through the tennis courts and field to the Village Market for lunch if it's open.
Ernest Chinese, previously known as The Flying Squirrel, was not only our favorite place to eat, but it was also the place we got engaged. Drop by if you're in downtown Chattanooga for some delicious Chinese food. The Mongolian Beef is amazing.
You cannot leave Chattanooga without trying some tacos from this taqueria. This hidden gem will not disappoint and the vibes are immaculate.
If you're staying in Ooltewah, closer to the venue and you love Italian and best of all, bread, drop by Il Primo. The bride LOVES this place and the service is great. There is also a location in Downtown in case you're closer to that side of town.
1885 is the place to get a quick bite or a nice dinner, likely accompanied with some live music if you catch them on a good night. Drop by for a signature 1885 burger or a delicious salad.
The groom, as a devoted, and mostly loyal, vegan enjoyed several dates at this entirely vegan spot. Everything is delicious, from their breakfast dishes, to their lunch, fresh juices, and finally tasty deserts.
We went on too many strolls and lunch dates to count at Coolidge Park. If the weather is nice, get lost walking in and around the park. It's located right by the famous Walnut Street Bridge.
Take a stroll on the Walnut Street Bridge and find your way to the Ice Cream shop where you can get some yummy dairy filled or vegan ice cream.
Rock City is a fun walk through Lookout Mountain where you are guaranteed beautiful views of Chattanooga and surrounding states. Buy a ticket on the website, park at the top of the mountain, and bring your walking shoes.
