Maid of Honor
Meeting Stravina at work was like finding a treasure trove in the midst of a mundane routine. From our first patient and some evening work sessions, she became more than just a colleague, she became my confidante, my partner in crime, and ultimately, my good friend. Her unwavering support and infectious laughter have brightened even the dreariest of workdays. When it came time to choose a maid of honor, there was no question in my mind Stravina was the perfect choice. Her reliability, empathy, and boundless enthusiasm make her not just a good friend, but the best friend I could ever for. I am pleased to have her serving as my maid of honor!
Best Man
JAHMEED (aka Jah) is my youngest brother; we have been through a lot together, teaching him things that I knew and playing sports together. Now, he's all grown up with a wife and kids, and I couldn't be more proud of him. I am honored to have him by my side as my best man!
Bridesmaid
Patrica and I met in 2009 when I started working at Glen Cove Hospital. We instantly became friends; the funny thing is, people would often mistake one of us for the other. When we worked together, they thought we were sisters. Pat, as she is called, was always willing to help with my workload. I have grown to love her for her support, advice, and listening to my every thought. Thank you for rooting for me. I am elated to have her as one of my bridesmaids!
Groomsman
Michael (AKA) Mikey is like a brother to me. Since he has come into my life, he has been very supportive. I can count on him to pray with me when needed. We all need someone like Michael in our lives. The numerous times I traveled to Jamaica, we had a lot of fun. I am honored to have him as one of my groomsmen!
Bridesmaid
Brittney is my youngest sister. We share so many wonderful memories together. Her leadership skills inspired me to always want to be the best I can be; some of my favorite memories of her are when we would go to the mall and then go out to eat. I’ve always admired her sense of style and beauty; we share so many good times, especially when I would do her hair. I enjoyed our moments together, especially when she taught me how to apply my makeup. I am honored to have her as one of my bridesmaids!
Groomsman
Gregory is my best friend; I have known him for over 20 years. I have never seen him not give his all when lending a hand to others. He is cool, calm, and collected. He has taught me a lot about tradesmen skills and how to not let things upset me. I am honored to have him as one of my groomsmen!
Bridesmaid
Cecile and I met at the 1st Law firm, where I worked right out of secretarial school. Her wit and confidence quickly drew me in. Cecile was willing to teach me all that I needed to learn as it was related to the job. We quickly developed a sisterhood. We would share stories about our sons, as we both were new mothers. She would bring her son over for play dates with my son. It’s a pleasure to have her as one of my bridesmaids!
Groomsman
Darryl is my cousin; he has a smooth tone in his voice and enjoys sharing stories about his family and his life. He is strong on putting family first. Darryl has shown me a different way of thinking about my life experiences. I love that he is a prayer warrior. I am honored to have him as one of my groomsmen!
