Hunter and Kaitlyn’s story began on the campus of Missouri State University. Hunter was a sophomore, and Kaitlyn was a freshman. Although they didn’t know it yet, life was already gently placing them in each other’s path. Both active in Greek Life, their chapters were paired together for an event, giving them plenty of chances to notice one another. It always seemed they were in the same places—passing on campus, crossing paths at Greek events, and staying involved in many of the same activities. Then came the moment that changed everything: one night, Kaitlyn gathered her courage and offered Hunter a simple compliment—her playful attempt at flirting. That small spark was all it took. One conversation turned into many, and soon Hunter and Kaitlyn found themselves seeking each other out, laughing until their sides hurt, and realizing how naturally their connection came. On September 20th, 2022, they officially began their journey together. What followed has been a love story full of adventure, shared dreams, and more ice cream dates than they can count. Through every season of life, they’ve built a relationship filled with warmth, joy, and genuine partnership. Three years later, while celebrating their anniversary on the beach in Clearwater, Florida, Hunter asked Kaitlyn to continue this life with him forever—and she said yes. Now, as they prepare to say “I do,” Hunter and Kaitlyn are excited to celebrate the story that brought them here and to build the future they’ve always dreamed of together.
