'Tis The Season To Be Married

We met while Anna was interning in Oregon for the youth ministry at Southwest Church of Christ. One of Anna's sweet friends organized for a group of people to go see a couple of movies at a nearby drive-in. Everyone met up at one person's house then caravanned out to the drive-in. As people were arriving, another one of Anna's friends, Rylan, showed up with her brother, Tyler. From then on, Tyler showed up at different youth group events, and even came out to Camp Yamhill a couple of times.

We're both absolutely in love with the Christmas season. Our first Christmas in Oklahoma together was filled to the brim with dates to go look at Christmas light displays. This year, Tyler took me to a specific place that we'd visited many times before the previous year. In the middle of the display is a large Christmas tree. As we watched the lights there, Tyler asked if I was as happy this year as I was last year. I told him I was much happier. He then asks, "Can I make you even happier?" then got down on his knee and asked me to be his wife.
