When Should I Arrive?

Answer

As soon as you are able! We have family and friends spread out across the country and are thrilled to have everyone in the same place. The weekend officially kicks off with a beach day on Friday for all our guests. Included with your room rate at Hillsboro Club are tennis & croquet courts, pitch & putt golf course, pool, and private beach! We hope you will have time to enjoy the many offerings of Hillsboro Club throughout our wedding weekend.

What Should I Wear to the Welcome Party?

Answer

The dress code is "Beach Chic". For women, we suggest a nice sundress. For men, a collared shirt and pants are appropriate. Our photographer will be joining us, so we ask that you wear something in which you look and feel your best!

What Should I Wear To The Wedding?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is "Florida Formal". This could be a cocktail, midi, or maxi dress for women and suits for men. Colors are also a plus! What is most important is that you feel good and are able to eat, drink, and dance!

Is the Wedding on the Beach?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outside on a raised deck overlooking the ocean. The cocktail hour and reception will take place steps away from the ceremony and are both inside. Guests will not need to walk through the sand at any point in the evening.

Does Hillsboro Club Have A Dress Code?

Answer

YES! Hillsboro does not permit guests to wear any denim (this includes white denim). Baseball caps and tank tops for men are not permitted inside. Also, both men and women must wear all white on the croquet and tennis courts.

Is Hillsboro Club All Inclusive?

Answer

Not quite. Hillsboro Club is a members only private beach club where activities and continental breakfast (8am-10am) are complimentary to guests. For lunch, the dining room is open from 12-2 Thursday-Sunday. There is also a tiki bar that will open Friday-Sunday where you will be able to order alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic beverages.

Can I rent Tennis Racquets & Golf Clubs?

Answer

Yes, Guests are able to use tennis racquets, Pickleball paddles, & golf clubs upon request from the front desk. Free of charge!

Any Tips for a Great Weekend?

Answer

We are excited to see and spend time with you! We encourage you to unplug and relax in this special old Florida setting. Hillsboro Club asks that you refrain from taking phone or video calls in the indoor common areas to respect others enjoying their holiday.

Do I Need a Rental Car?

Answer

There is no need to rent a car. Hillsboro Club is a short drive from Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach airports. We recommend using a ride service like Uber or Lyft to get to and from the airport.

Are Kids Invited to the Wedding?

Answer

We hold a special place in our hearts for your little ones, but unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding ceremony and reception.
