As much as we love your little ones, we think that you deserve a break!
San Miguel is best explored on foot, but taxis are readily available throughout the town. Please note that drivers only accept pesos, so be sure to have some on hand, as credit cards are not accepted. You’ll find numerous ATMs around town where you can easily withdraw pesos. Uber is another convenient option for getting around. We’ve always enjoyed walking as our primary mode of transportation—it's the perfect way to take in the charm and beauty of San Miguel.
Bring Warm Layers! San Miguel's evenings can be brisk, similar to what you might experience in Colorado. Situated in the mountains rather than by the coast, the city enjoys warm daytime temperatures in the mid-70s but cools down to the low 60s at night.
Everything is outside! Please plan accordingly, highly recommend block heels.
