How to get I get my ticket to the Rennaissance Festival?

Answer

Tickets will be provided for all RSVPd guests. For guests riding the shuttle, we will distribute tickets there. For guests arranging their own transportation, we will have a standard bearer near the entrance to give out tickets until approximately 10:30. He will have a banner with our Heraldry - Three red stars above a field of flowers and lances. Remaining tickets will be left at Will Call.

Where do I park?

Answer

For the reception and dinner, park at the Cameron St. Garage 8530 Cameron St, Silver Spring, MD 20910. For the wedding, if you are driving yourself, parking is available at the Renaissance Festival 1821 Crownsville Rd, Annapolis, MD 21401. Traffic getting in to the grounds is typically very slow, please plan for plenty of extra time. If you are taking the wedding shuttle and need to park, the Wayne Ave Garage is closest to the Courtyard Marriott - 921 Wayne Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20910

I am taking the shuttle to the wedding - how do I get home?

Answer

The shuttle will make two return trips from the Renaissance Festival to the Courtyard Marriott: one at 3 PM and one at 4:30 PM.

Food and drink at the festival

Answer

Food and drinks will not be provided for at the renaissance festival. Guests are expected to pay for their own. Food and drink at the festival are CASH ONLY. There are ATMs at the festival, however, it it recommended to get cash prior to entering festival grounds. There are many options available to fit most dietary needs. You are allowed to bring outside food provided it is not in a cooler, and outside drinks are limited to one factory-sealed bottle of water. What payment types are accepted at the festival?

Answer

Most food and drink vendors only take cash. There are ATMs available but lines can be long, so we recommend getting cash ahead of time. Other vendors often accept Lady Visa and Master Card.

Do I need a costume at the renaissance festival?

Costumes are encouraged but not required.
