Here are some recommendations for children!

Great for children and adults.  This is the oldest public Japanese Garden in the U.S. and is located within the Golden Gate Park which is a destination in itself!

Japanese Tea Garden

This family friendly museum is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-5pm.  Cafe Josephine is attached to this very kid friendly science and nature museum perched on the hills not far from our home.  There are great vistas and hills for kids to climb around it.

Randall Museum of Science & Nature

This is a beautiful new playground near our home. Walk across the small baseball field next to the playground and you'll discover the  fabulous view of Glen Canyon and my favorite walking trails near our house!  Imagine a very miniature "Grand Canyon".  Great activity for the family!
