What is the dress code?

Answer

We're aiming for something in between semi-formal and black tie optional. Tuxes are not required, but the venue does require that men wear suits including jackets and ties or equivalent. A cocktail dress, longer gown, dressy separates or suits are welcome for women. Indian or Western attire is welcome! The bridal party will mostly be wearing dark blue and green.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Will there be transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

There will be two rounds of transportation to and from the venue and the Marriott Bethesda Downtown, stay tuned for more details! There are also plenty of rideshare services available in the area. Please drive responsibly!

Can I park at the venue?

Answer

There will be valet parking available at the venue for the main event. Please drive responsibly, there are also taxis and rideshares services available and we will have two rounds of transportation between the wedding hotel and the venue.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, kids are welcome at the big day! We both have young kids in our families and want the event to be enjoyed by everyone. While there will be a quiet room with activities for children (e.g. coloring, games) we are currently not planning to arrange separate childcare but please let us know if this is a concern.
