Nathan and I first met when we were 17. At that time Nathan lived in Brillion WI and I lived in Freedom WI which was 30 minutes away. We both took a summer job working at a warehouse in Nathan's hometown. Looking back it is somewhat surprising we ever got together because we both were very shy, quiet kids. I think we maybe spoke 3 words to each other the entire summer. It came as a complete shock when he asked me out on a date that August. I later found out that Nathan had been working up the courage to ask me out since June. On our first date we bonded over our shared love of the outdoors and corny sense of humor. We have been together ever since. The path to marriage was a long one for us, but in our hearts we always knew we were meant to be together. Nathan and I are best friends. If there is one thing we have learned over the last 7 years, it is to spread as much joy as possible. We always try to make each other laugh no matter how serious the situation. Some of our favorite memories together are the goofiest ones.
