Our love story began exactly how every great romance does: with coffee and a "study date." We met in law school through a mutual friend. From the start, Sydney was drawn to Paul’s sense of humor and mesmerizing eyes, while Paul could not stop thinking about Sydney’s smile that could light up an entire room. Determined to get her attention, Paul sent Sydney a direct message on Instagram asking for her Torts professor’s handouts in exchange for coffee. What seemed like a simple coffee trade quickly turned into hours of conversation, endless laughter, and a connection neither of us expected. That coffee date, meant to be casual, quickly turned into long conversations, nonstop laughter, and then… another date. And another. Soon, coffee dates evolved into countless pizza nights, ice cream runs “just because,” and movie dates. Somewhere between late-night studying, shared slices of pizza, and debating which ice cream flavor to get, we realized this was more than just a study break. What started as a simple coffee bribe turned into a love story filled with laughter, good food, and the perfect partner to do life with. Turns out, the best relationships are built on persistence, great conversation, and an unreasonable amount of pizza and ice cream. 🍕🍦
