Our story began like many others, with us meeting at work. Early 2021, Tyler joined the CT team at the Tessy Skaneateles plant training under Sam. Little did we know, Sam would have the patience to navigate Tyler's confidence (or is it cockiness?) and a spark would form between the two of us. Small work favors such as brewing tea for the other and bringing in snacks led to going to the gym together. Going to the gym together led to parking lot kisses. Parking lot kisses led to dinner dates. After a few months, things were official between us. But we wanted to keep workplace drama out of our relationship and decided to keep things between us while at work. So a year went by without news getting out that we were together, despite us discretely flirting by tossing the occasional paperclip or component into each other's cubicles, leaving work together, or staying late together. The secret was finally up when we both submitted vacation requests for the same week. Our director came over to our desks with a playfully suspicious smile on his face and asked "May 16th to the 20th, huh?" We both sheepishly laughed. "Surprise!" Fast forward two more years and we got engaged, prepared to step into the next phase of our lives. And we couldn't be more excited!
