Aurelio and I met via Match.com. We went on our first date in July of 2021 at Cooper's Hawk restaurant. The first thing I noticed about Aurelio was his beautiful smile and sky-reaching eyelashes. I loved how he was so confident, positive, and radiant on that first date. We synced so well-- the chemistry was undeniable. I was late to our first date but had a great gut feeling when I entered the restaurant lobby and saw him waiting with a bouquet of flowers. What can I say? I'm a hopeless romantic! We went to Cooper's Hawk for dinner in Oak Park and walked by the bean in Millenium Park. After that first date, I wasn't sure how things would progress, and went on a two-week cross-country Amtrak solo train trip. I did not think the first date would flourish into something more. Little did I know that Aurelio would text me good morning every day of my trip until I returned to Chicago fourteen days after. A month after our first date, we deactivated our Match.com accounts at the same place and time. On Sweetest Day 2022, Aurelio proposed at Millennium Park-- the same place we went to on our first date.

Aurelio y yo nos conocimos vía Match.com. Tuvimos nuestra primera cita en julio de 2021 en el restaurante Cooper's Hawk.
