They met during a fire drill at school, which ended up being 2 hours of standing in the street across from the building. Each one said their mothers’ brisket was the best, and they knew it was love at first sight. A month later, another evacuation, only this time they made sure to exchange numbers. It’s been a long and winding road, but these two are very much in love and ready for this next chapter to begin!
Hanukkah 2020... Joanna’s gift on the 4th night was a handmade, custom jigsaw puzzle which pieced together to reveal a picture of one of their favorite memories. There was a special message and question on the back: “You are my beshert.. Will You Marry Me?” [Beshert means soulmate in Hebrew]. Of course, she said yes!
