We're getting married!

It was Vinny's 21st birthday, and a mutual friend was throwing a party for him in their campus suite at UAlbany. They were both there with other people, but were casually introduced to each other. Fast forward to a few years later, after both had graduated and were working in the Albany area. They kept running into each other out at local bars, or friends parties. It was obvious there was something there, every time they talked. He was hard headed and didn't admit it at first. But she was persistent. Eventually, after numerous random dates over the span of a year, he realized there was something about her that he couldn't resist. He asked her out in a more serious manner than ever before, and before long their relationship bloomed into something beautiful.

They had planned a long weekend trip down to Long Island to go visit her parents. They had planned to go out to the Hamptons that Friday to go to the beach. She had mentioned stopping at Wölffer Estate Vineyard on their way out there that day to do a wine tasting, since she loved their Rosé and it was on the way. Little did she know, he had already called weeks ahead to arrange this huge surprise for her. But he played along when she mentioned going to the vineyard. Upon arriving at the vineyard, they were seated at a table on the patio that overlooked the fields and fields of grapes. They proceeded to order a couple of flights of wine to taste, and she mentioned to him that they should try to go on one of the tours they offer. He asked the server if they had any tours available, in which she responded that she would go check. A gentleman named Miles came over to their table and apologized that they were all sold out of tours for the day, but he had a few minutes to spare and would quick show them around if they were interested (This was all part of the plan). He topped off their wine glasses and gave them a quick tour of the subterranean wine cellar. At the end of the tour, he explained to them that he was going to show them a room in the wine cellar that was his favorite, the Wine Library. As soon as he unlocked the door and they walked in, there was a table with flowers and bottles of wine. At that moment he got down on one knee, and with tears in both of their eyes, he asked her to marry him. Moments after, once they had both caught their breath, they were greeted by her parents and family members who he had planned to have celebrate with them. The rest of the day was spent on Cloud 9.
