Meredith and Tommy met on a blind date (thank you, Internet). About a month later, the Great Flood of 2016 hit Baton Rouge. Meredith's house took on roughly 2 1/2 feet of water. With 2 dogs in tow and not many options, she moved into Tommy's house, not knowing how long the arrangement would last. Luckily God had interesting plans for them and they found themselves falling in love over the next several months while Meredith's house was rebuilt. What started out as strangers moving in together under tragic circumstances, turned into two people finding their best friends. Through the pain of losing everything in the flood, Meredith had the support of Tommy every day. It couldn't have worked out better.
