-Walk along King Street past restaurants, bars, oyster bars, and shopping galore. The wedding venue, William Aiken House, is located at 456 King Street. -If you continue south on King Street from the City Center towards the water (Charleston Harbor), you will arrive at the Battery-the southern tip of the city. Across the street from the waterfront is Rainbow Row, a stretch of Georgian-style homes painted in bright colors -From the Battery, you can stroll along the path with its old “live oak” trees. -A mile north of the Battery is Waterfront Park, home to the giant Pineapple Fountain. -Boat excursions are a great way to see Charleston from the water. There are a number of tours that start down in Charleston Harbor. -Charleston City Market is located near the intersection of Market and Meeting Streets. It has a number of stalls selling many types of products—some local authentic Charleston-made goods like seagrass baskets, and some not-so-local goods too!
