Travel to the Ceremony

BROOKLYN FERRY LOCATION AND SCHEDULE Please join us at Pier 6 in Brooklyn Bridge Park to take the 1 pm ferry to the island. There is a backup 1:45 pm ferry as well for latecomers but after that, the next ferry is at 2:30, and the ceremony will start promptly at 2 pm. We will have tickets waiting on the dock for you with one of our wedding planners! The address is Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 6, Bridge Park Drive, Brooklyn, NY 11201 and a map can be found here: https://goo.gl/maps/BDAtwpwXBeQBrm1X8 FOR THOSE COMING FROM MANHATTAN Please let us know if you would prefer to take the Manhattan ferry from 10 South Street and we can arrange to get your ferry tickets to you ahead of time. Mobility

*Note* If you or someone in your party might need a bit of extra accommodation for mobility please just reach out (mjhrich at gmail.com) and let us know! We're making additional plans to help get around Governor's island and on and off the ferry for those who might need it, we just need to know ahead of time. Thank you for helping us make sure our party is accessible for everyone!

Accommodation Options

We've secured a few hotel blocks for those who would like that option but also encourage folks to think about where they would like to be for the weekend! There's lots to do in NYC and we know our wedding day may only be one part of where you're hoping to explore in the city when visiting from out of town. AirBnB's and smaller hotels might be more your style and more affordable so please feel free to choose what suits you best. To note - Red Hook itself (the neighborhood in Brooklyn where our reception will be) is not super convenient to the subway. We'd suggest staying in a nearby neighborhood, (Caroll Gardens, Park Slope, Downtown Brooklyn or even Downtown Manhattan), that offers easier subway access and then plan on taking a cab/Lyft after the reception. Entirely a personal choice, but those are our suggestions!

We always suggest checking out AirBnB as an option - some good deals to be had in fun neighborhoods! When looking around we'd suggest Carrol Gardens, Park Slope, Downtown Brooklyn, DUMBO or the Financial District in Manhattan to be closest to weekend activities. (Red Hook also works as it is near the reception location but there is not a subway stop there so be prepared to take Uber or Lyft most of the weekend if you choose it!)
