Black-tie garden is black-tie elegance, such as floor length dresses/gowns and tuxes, with bright or floral colors and more whimsical fabrics like tulle or beading. Ladies, please feel free to have fun with this, tulle and dramatic dresses are welcome! Please dress to impress. Sorry gentlemen, I know this does not have a lot of options for yall but please feel free to have fun with accessories. If you wish to rent a tux, the wedding party is selecting from Mister Tuxedo (Dallas) and Le Prestige Boutique (Denver). Please reserve a white dinner coat for the groom.
For our out of town guests, we will provide transportation from Hotel Clio to the venue and back. There will be transportation detail cards in the hotel rooms for both Clio and Moxie so you can plan accordingly. For Denver residents, if you choose to drive, we will have valet available. We ask all guests to arrive before the ceremony start time. Anyone who arrives after the start will not have access to valet or the drive way.
The cocktail hour and reception are at a private residence with multiple levels and a beautiful lawn. Please wear shoes that you feel comfortable walking up and down stairs, on grass, or gravel with. We will have ballet flats for those who wish to dress for the drama.
Altitude sickness is not fun (and yes Denver is a mile higher than the south), I got it when visiting to interview caterers and hotels. Do not recommend. Please DRINK LOTS OF WATER the WEEK BEFORE flying up. Keep electrolytes on you, and remember that alcohol will effect you more...so pace yourself on Friday/Saturday. There are 2 IV places within walking distance of the Clio and the Moxie incase you need a pre-event or post-event arm cocktail
