What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. The ceremony and cocktail hour are located outside, so please dress according to the weather.

Are my kids invited?

Answer

As much as we’d love to see your children, we’d like you to enjoy a night off! Our wedding will be an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive fifteen to thirty minutes before the start of the ceremony (4:30 p.m.), to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

If I drive to the ceremony/reception where can I park?

Answer

Riverdale Manor has a free parking lot on site. Cars may be parked in the lot from 4:00pm Friday, October 7th to 10:00am Saturday, October 8th.

Do you have a registry?

For friends and family who have expressed an interest, we’ve created an online registry with Crate & Barrel and Amazon. You can find our registries under the “registry” tab right here on our website! If you wish to contribute to our future home in lieu of a gift, our Venmo is @Marrying-McKinnon.

Are you providing transportation?

Answer

We are providing Uber codes. Guests can enter this code “r0NGXSgOMce” in the Uber app to add the voucher to your ride. Our code will be substituted as your form of payment for your ride.

Do I need to bring my ID?

Answer

Yes, our venue will card anyone under 40 who wishes to order an alcoholic beverage and requires a valid ID for service.
