Recommended by the Couple: If you happen to be one of Meredith's Theatre friends or enjoy the arts, this hotel will not disappoint! The Pontchartrain Hotel located in the Garden District is the home to where the playwright Tennessee Williams wrote A Streetcar Named Desire! The green streetcar even passes by the front of the hotel. You can enjoy an evening on the rooftop bar, Hot Tin, which was built to recreate Williams apartment when he lived there or even slip on over to Jack Rose for a drink and a quick Instagram moment in front of Ashley Longshore's "Lil' Wayne" art piece. This hotel is about a 10 minute Uber from the St. Louis Cathedral located in the French Quarter. *No room block included
