While Jerod and Meredith were living in Portland, OR for job opportunities, they met on the dating app, Bumble. Unlike other apps, Bumble required Meredith to reach out first. When paired with Meredith, Jerod was excited but hoped that she reached out to him. He saw that she was a former collegiate athlete, enjoyed going to wineries and to top it off, she was b-e-a-utiful. After a week or so of messaging, they met up for the first time at a Jamba Juice after work one Friday. Jerod arrived at Jamba early and sat at a picnic table outside eagerly awaiting Meredith's arrival. When Meredith arrived, Jerod knew at first sight that she was the one. As months passed and their bond continued to grow, Jerod felt a sense of love in his heart for Meredith. It was one evening that Jerod looked at Meredith and said "I think I love you" where he was met with a blank look and not a reciprocal "I love you too". After Meredith left that evening, Jerod thought he would never see her again. They talked and Jerod admired Meredith's honesty which led to her saying "I love you" a few weeks later. As time passed Jerod and Meredith decided to relocate to Meredith's home state of Arizona to be closer to family and establish a life together. As their two year of dating anniversary approached, Jerod decided to ask the big question in which Meredith returned with a "YES!". The two of them are very excited to continue their lives together and continue to make memories while sharing an occasional Jamba Juice.
