What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Women should wear cocktail dresses or dressy jumpsuits. Men should wear dress shirt, slacks and tie.

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony and reception will both be outside, weather permitting. There will be a tent on the Green. Also, both the ceremony and reception are on grass.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

YES! We will be providing beer and wine. We will also have a signature drink.

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we do love your children, we ask that our wedding remain an adult-only event. Find a babysitter and come enjoy a kid-free night with us!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We ask that you do not bring an extra guest unless indicated on your invitation.

Is transportation available?

Answer

Unfortunately, we do not have Ubers available in small-town Edenton. We kindly ask that you do not drink and drive. The local BNBs and several Airbnb and Vrbo rentals are within walking distance of the Courthouse Green.

Is parking available?

Answer

There is a large parking lot behind the old Courthouse (located at 117 E. King Street). Free and no-tow parking. You can leave your car overnight, if needed.
