Matron of Honor
Since we first met as teenagers, we’ve basically been attached at the soul. Even when she moved halfway across the country, our friendship never faltered. She’s the first text I send about any life changing decision and even those that truly aren’t “life changing”. She’s the first person I turn to for advice or to vent to and if you asked her, I’m sure she’d say the same. I’m honored to have her standing beside me on this special day in my life and even more honored to call her my best friend.
Maid of Honor
You know that saying about sisters wanting to rip each other’s hair out all the time? Yea, that was us for about 99% of the time we spent growing up under the same roof. But here we are, both still with PLENTLY of hair (thanks for the lion hair genes, daddy) and a whole lot of memories. Whether it be staying up late to watch shows forbidden by our parents, making s’mores with a candle during a hurricane, crying over boys or teaching each other life lessons on those loooonnnnggg walks with the dogs, I wouldn’t have chosen to do it with anyone else.
Bridesmaid
If I’ve ever met anyone so much like myself but also so different, it’s this sweet little sister of mine. We have oh so many of the same qualities but hers are multiplied by 10. I don’t think we were meant to be just a like but if I’ve ever been a tiny bit jealous of the heart of anyone in my family, it’s this one. I’d like to think (and hope) that some of her strengths were learned or at least inspired by our late talks and cries over dinners and tv shows and whatever else we spent our time together doing. Nevertheless, she continues to outshine the majority of people I know.
Bridesmaid
Other than the exact same shade of blue eyes, you’d prob never guess we’re related, much less sisters. She’s got to die for naturally blonde hair and the cutest dimples ever (she may kill me for that). Even though she’s grown up and on her way to taking over and more importantly, changing the world- I’m not kidding, this girl is in it to win it- she will always be my “baby” sister and one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met.
Bridesmaid
She gave me the cutest niece ever, so she automatically wins in the sister category, right? That saying about sisters being different flowers all from the same garden definitely applies to me and Jess. She’s totally one of those amazing bulbs that keep coming back even bigger and prettier as the years go on and I’m thoroughly enjoying watching from the sidelines. You could definitely say we’re “cut from the same cloth” though in the mom category- you could call us both a little “extra” without stretching the truth.
Flower Girl
The sweetest, prettiest little thing you ever did see, Morgan is the daughter of my oldest sister, Jessica. If you don’t plan to swoon over her flower crown and twirly dress she’ll be rocking, don’t even bother showing up. There’s no one that this girl can’t bring the smiles out of.
Ring Bearer
This (not so) little firecracker is my own oldest son and will be your comic relief for the night. If you feel the need to laugh until your belly hurts, just hunt down this handsome little fellow and ask him to tell you his famous joke. You won’t regret it!
Ring Bearer
Although he goes by Tate, our youngest son gets his first name (and his attitude) from his daddy. Wait, did I just type that?! If you want to see what Jeremy was like 30 years ago, this little cutie can give you a blast to the past and warm your heart all at once. Spoiler alert-he gives the best squeezes!
Best Man
Began playing football and basketball together. Always remember him playing quarterback in peewee football and me as running back. To basketball practice and winning a few games to being offered Jell-O shots from coach lol. Telling him to try out for high school basketball which he was nervous as hell about. To later becoming a friend that I would do anything for. One I would always take up for. Someone that I could call and he’d be there no matter. Life long friends is an understatement. We are more like brothers that will always be there for each other.
Best Man #2
Well where to start with this big cuddlesome man. As I first remember him from grade school and maybe not the closest of friends until middle school or even high school. We’ve always got along and playing football and basketball made us even closer. Maybe it was after high school when i knew I would do anything for him and he would for me. Making many trips to just pick up someone or just a mini vacation, a long trip to Nashville. We are friends to the end and always will be.
