It was 2020 and the world was in lockdown. People were stuck in their homes with nothing to do but scroll their cell phones. Enter Hinge, "the dating app designed to be deleted." One April day, Archer and Meredith began chatting on Hinge. A few days later, Hinge chatting turned to texting. Realizing that we lived less than one mile from each other, we met on April 25, 2020 at a local park to go for a short walk. A "short walk" turned into a multi-mile hike after Meredith got them lost on the Cary Greenway. The next day, Archer came over to help sand and paint the front porch. With everything closed, the first six months were full of home cooked meals every night and watching every movie in the Marvel universe - in timeline order of course. In the last 5+ years, life has tested and tried our relationship, but through it all, we've consistently turned to each other for love, support, and grace.
