What should I wear? What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire/formal wear. It IS a celebration, after all!

What is the weather like in October?

Answer

It's Minnesota so anything goes - it could be 90 degrees and it could be snowing! But the good news - both our ceremony and reception are indoors, so you won't need to worry too much about the outdoor elements.

What happens after the ceremony?

We will be hosting a social hour immediately following the ceremony, in the same location.

Where do I park if I am driving?

Answer

Please keep in mind that Harvest Fest is happening the same day as our wedding, so there will be A LOT of people in town, which means parking may be at a premium. Please make sure you allow enough time so that you aren't late to the ceremony - there's a lot to explore if you find yourself with time to spare! The Stillwater Parking Ramp is recommended. It is located on the 2nd St/Commercial St next to the Lowell Inn and only a couple blocks from Main Street, less than a 5 minute walk. There is a small fee charged to park here. There are public parking lots along the river, to the east of Water Street Inn. There are also parking spots on the street, but have 3 hour limits.

How and when should I RSVP?

Please RSVP by September 15, 2022. You can mail back the RSVP card included with your invitation, or you can use the 'RSVP' link at the top of this page.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

If you know Meredith, you know she is always on time! So you can count on the ceremony beginning promptly at 4:30pm! Please arrive by 4:15pm so you don't miss a minute of the action!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a block of rooms at Water Street Inn and Lora Hotel. Click on the 'Hotel Block' tab above for more details. Downtown Stillwater also has two other hotels: The Lowell Inn and The Crosby Hotel. The greater Stillwater area has additional hotel options.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We want to spend as much time with everyone as possible! Friday night we have reserved the private third floor at Brian's Bar & Grill for an informal get together. There will be a bartender available with a cash bar. We will be there from 7-9pm, and we look forward to seeing you!
