FAQs

With any other questions or concerns, please contact either the bride or groom.
Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire/formal. Dresses, suits+ties, etc. no jeans, NO COSTUMES.

Question

Where did the option to RSVP go?

Answer

Our RSVPS were due on September 1st. We can no lonnger accomodate any last minute RSVPS. If youd still like to attend, we would be happy to have you join us at 6:45 for our open house reception.

Question

What and who is your open house reception for?

Answer

We unfortunately reached our venues seating capacity and will not be able to accommodate everyone who would like to be there and everyone we wish we could have invited. We decided the best solution to this would be to hold an open house reception beginning at 6:45 PM. While we aren't allowing any children to be present for most of the day, kids are welcome to come at this time. Anyone who wants to come dance and celebrate with us is welcome! If you have received an invitation and save the date then you do not need to worry about this and please continue on planning to join us for the ceremony and all other events taking place.

Question

Can I bring a date/+1?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not bring anyone unexpected. When you go to RSVP, if it says you have a guest, you can bring a +1. There will be a $80 fee per person if anyone unexpected attends in order to accommodate. We will be having an open house reception for anyone who doesnt have a formal invite, but would still like to come. This begins at 6:45 PM.

Question

What entertainment will you have?

Answer

During our “social hour,” we will be having a psychic come and do readings! Please be sure to bring some money for a tip if you want to get a reading done.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

VERY FEW kids will be there. We love your kids, but our wedding isn't the place for them. If they are not listed on your invite or RSVP, do not bring them. Kids will only be invited during the “open house” beginning at 6:45PM. You will politely be asked to leave if this rule isn't followed.

Question

What time should I get there?

Answer

No sooner than 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony. Once the ceremony starts, we wont allow guests to be seated and you will need to wait for the reception to start. Just be on time.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We ask that you turn off all phones and other electronics during the ceremony. Please respect our wishes for an unplugged ceremony and just be in the moment with us. We have a photographer and videographer who would love to share with you. At the reception, take as many photos as you want! If you decide to post them, use the hashtag #weddingbellsforgruendells so we can see all your pretty pictures!

Question

Are you accepting gifts?

Answer

We are requesting cash gifts in any amount you wish to contribute. Venmo either one of us (dillon-gruendell) (clustermere). You may also contribute on our Zola registry if that works better for you. We have several gifts on our registry as well if you would prefer to give something physical.

Question

Where is the venue located?

Answer

Arbor Manor is tucked away behind Hires Big H and Red Maple Chinese. It can be easy to miss so keep an eye out!

Question

How late should I expect this to go on for?

Answer

We are currently planning on making our grand exit at 9:30 PM.

For all the days along the way
