What is the dress code for the Welcome Party?

Answer

Dressy casual with a fall twist! Dresses, stylish sweaters, slacks, or boots. No blue jeans, please. We’re keeping it classy and comfortable for the season!

What should we know about parking for the Welcome Party?

Answer

The Welcome Party will be held uptown, where parking can be a bit tricky — but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! Complimentary valet parking will be available for all guests. Prefer to not drive altogether? The RideShare should drop at The Carolina Theatre (230 N. Tryon St)!

What is the dress code for the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional. Long dresses, tuxedos, or dark-colored suits are perfect for the occasion.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! We’re happy to provide transportation to make your day seamless and stress-free. Trolleys and shuttles will transport all who need it. For guests staying at our designated hotels: Shuttles will take you to Belk Chapel for the ceremony at 4:45 PM on Saturday, November 15th. Trolleys will transport you from Belk Chapel to Myers Park. Return shuttles will be available starting at 9:00 PM until the end of the night (12:30 AM) to bring you back to the hotel. For guests planning to drive: Parking will be available at Belk Chapel, and the reception venue is just a short drive away. For all other guests: We recommend taking a ride share to Belk Chapel. Transportation between the ceremony and reception will be provided for all guests. You can easily uber home from Myers Park Country Club.

Are kids welcome?

We adore your little ones! However, we kindly ask that you make arrangements for them during the Welcome Party and the Wedding Reception, as both events will be adults-only. We hope this gives all our guests a chance to relax, celebrate, and enjoy a night out. Thank you so much for understanding!

Is there an after party?

Answer

Yes! Lucky enough, the after party will be held at Myers Park Country Club, immediately following the reception. No need to worry about directions, we will be headed upstairs to continue the party. More munchies, drinks, and dancing!
