It all began at the beginning of 2013 when our paths crossed in a pre-calculus class. We were two familiar faces with mutual friends who finally met. At first, it didn't seem like anything special; summer came and went, but little did we know that our paths would continue to cross over the next year. In the fall of our junior year, we found ourselves in multiple classes together again (we're still not sure why Mer was in AP classes!). Our relationship continued to grow, still quite casual, just friends getting to know each other. Fast forward to November, with a little help from our friends, we had our first "date" - watching Captain Phillips at the Barn movie theater. It was a setup, as high school as it could get. From that day on, our relationship blossomed, and we didn't go a day without talking to each other. We embarked on countless adventures together - junior prom, senior prom, high school graduation, and then college. We were having the time of our lives, creating memories that would last a lifetime. As the years went by, things got more serious. We navigated college, started our careers, moved in together in Manayunk, and welcomed Doobie Dog into our lives. Things were great, but something was still missing; we wanted to try something new, so we made the move to DC.

Fast forward to December 2022, we were at Ford's Theater, ringing in the holiday season. After dinner, drinks, and the play, we headed to the National Christmas Tree, and Chris got down on one knee. Meredith, who was totally oblivious to everything the entire day, said, "Are you kidding right now, is this a joke?" It wasn't a joke. It was a moment that changed our lives forever, and we couldn't be happier to embark on this next chapter together. Through all the ups and downs, we've learned, grown, and have been there for each other unconditionally. We can't wait to continue our story! We are incredibly excited to share our love story with all of you and invite you to be a part of our special day.
