Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal attire. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear suit and tie or dressy separates, and ladies are encouraged to wear cocktail/midi dresses, a dressy jumpsuit or separates.

Can I bring a plus one?

We respectfully request that plus ones be limited to those designated on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Are Children Welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we are limiting children to those in our immediate family, making this an adults-only celebration. We can’t wait for you to enjoy a fun night out with us!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony starts promptly at 4:30, so we ask that you please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of time. If you are staying at the resort, you may ask for early check in to accommodate our ceremony timing.

Is there a hotel room block we can use?

Answer

Yes! We have a discounted room block of 30 rooms at the Saybrook Point Resort available to book until April 30th. If you’d like to reserve a room at our discounted group rate, please call Saybrook Point Resort & Marina directly and mention that you’re part of the Piela/Denton wedding on May 30th. There’s no minimum stay required to take advantage of the room block, and the hotel is offering early check-in for guests arriving on the day of the wedding. Saybrook Point Resort & Marina is also the location of our ceremony and reception.

What should I do if I'm not staying at the resort?

Answer

Please let us know your travel and lodging plans so we can try to help coordinate transportation! There will still be parking available at Saybrook Point for wedding guests who do not plan to stay over, however we are looking into some transportation services so that our guests can get home safely.
