We actually met online first. We knew pretty quickly that we wanted to meet, however, I was going to be in Arizona for the first week in June and he was going to be in Disney for the next 2 weeks, so we waited almost a full MONTH before meeting in person. We met at Garden State Beer Company in Galloway - and the conversation was just so EASY!! No awkward pauses, no weirdness - just felt right. Saying good night that night, I think we both knew that we had just started something special.

We were on vacation in Pennsylvania and decided to take Makayla and Maddy hiking at Bushkill Falls. It's this beautiful place in the Poconos boasting eight waterfalls. We got there and decided we were going to do a short loop and see what we saw. The loop we picked circled around one main large waterfall. We walked to the bottom of it, then crossed over and walked back up the other side. When we got to the top, Anthony asked if we could go back down a little further because he wanted to get a family picture near the bottom of the waterfall. I said sure, of course. So we hike back down a little ways, he finds his spot and we asked Corinne (Anthony's sister), if she would take a picture for us. We take a couple of pictures and then he starts to head toward his backpack when I heard Corinne say "one more". So I turned to tell him that Corinne wanted to take one more, and he was down on one knee with a ring in his hand. He asked me if I would join their family, if I would marry them. I think I was in shock. Then Corinne told the girls to ask, so they also shouted "Will you marry us"? When asked to join into the family of the three most important people in your world, what other answer is there than a resounding YES?!?!
