When and where is the wedding?

Our ceremony and reception will be held at Anodyne Coffee located at 224 West Bruce Street, Milwaukee, WI 53204 on Friday, September 5th. Please note that there are several Anodyne Coffee locations – be sure to head to the right one.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Doors will open at 4:00 pm and the ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm. If you arrive earlier than 4:00 pm, Station 1846 is a nice bar and coffee shop located across that street at 215 West Bruce Street, Milwaukee, WI 53204.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, there will be signage to parking that has been reserved in the lot across the street on the north side of Bradley Tech High School. The parking lot is broken into two halves divided by a sidewalk, so you would either enter the parking lot on South 3rd Street or South 4th Street. Parking is also available on surrounding streets.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes, we’ve reserved a hotel block at the Holiday Inn & Suites, located at 545 West Layton Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53207—approximately 15 minutes from the venue. To book a room under the block, click the Travel tab of this website or call the hotel at 414-482-4444 and mention the “Thompson & Schleis Wedding Block.” The block rate ends after Tuesday, August 5th.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

You’ll have the opportunity to note any dietary restrictions when you RSVP. Dinner will be served buffet-style with a variety of options, but if you have specific concerns or allergies, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly.
