Kyle and Meredith met in English class, Freshman year at East Carolina University. They would sneak peeks at each other from across the room until Kyle finally got up the courage to ask Meredith to “edit his paper”. The first date they went on, Kyle’s card got declined and Meredith did not have her wallet with her...they ended up dining and dashing (sorry Kanki). After spending the summer together, the couple decided to part ways right before Sophomore year started. They stayed in touch over their college years and reunited when they starting working for the same summer sales company. Kyle and Meredith decided to co-found their own company Senior year and even traveled to Africa twice together that year. On February 14, 2018, Kyle finally confessed his love for Meredith and she happily said “I love you too”. After a long hot summer living and working together in Atlanta, Kyle asked Meredith to marry him at their going-away party, October 20, 2018.
