What is the address of the venue?
Answer
6 Cherry Lane in Madbury, NH! Powder Major's Farm is located in the seacoast region of New Hampshire in the town of Madbury just minutes away from Dover and the nearby University of New Hampshire in Durham. The venue is located a mere fifteen minutes from Portsmouth and is an hour and half drive from Boston.

Is there parking and can we leave our cars overnight at the venue?
Answer
There is a parking lot at the venue, so you are more than welcome to drive yourself. However, cars are not welcome to be left overnight. If you are looking to have a good time and not worry about driving yourself, we recommend booking with our hotel block and taking the bus we're providing for transport to and from the hotel.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our ceremony, weather permitting, will be held outdoors along with cocktail hour. Dinner and reception will be held inside the barn. It is a late October wedding, so please dress accordingly.

Are kids allowed at the wedding?
Answer
We know your kids are awesome, but due to space restrictions and liability, we cannot accommodate guests under 21 on our wedding day.

Am I allowed a 'Plus One'?
Answer
Unfortunately, we have limited space. Plus ones are therefore invitation only and we ask other guests to please not bring a plus one. Thank you so much for your understanding!

What time should we arrive?
Answer
The ceremony will begin for 3:30 PM. We recommend arriving 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony start. Parking is right below the ceremony area.

Can I bring a gift with me to the wedding?
Answer
Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift and card table for your convenience.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We welcome guests to take photos of our big day, but please wait until after the ceremony! We kindly ask that you turn off all phones and cameras to be fully present with us. Thank you!

What will the bar be serving and will it be open?
Answer
Open bar! We will have beer, wine, and signature cocktails, as well as plenty of non-alcoholic beverages.

What types of food can we expect during cocktail hour and dinner?
Answer
Cocktail hour will consist of an arrangement of stationary appetizers and butler-passed appetizers. Dinner will be a buffet-style taco and fajitas bar with all of the fixings! There will be an arrangement of sides that should be able to accommodate all dietary restrictions.

Is there a breakfast the following day?
Answer
Those who book with the Homewood Suites by Hilton Dover where we have our hotel block, there will be a complimentary breakfast, so we request those who stay to join us for a final thank you and send off.

When will the reception end?
Answer
Madbury has a noise ordinance for 9 PM, so please join us for our send off at 9:15.
