Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Meredith Lee and Jordan Kelly
We've shared a few of our favorite Montgomery spots below! Montgomery is a city with a complex history. If you have time and are interested in doing so, we would also encourage you to check out some of the landmarks and museums that tell the stories of the birthplace of the Civil Rights Movement. A few that we'd recommend include the Equal Justice Initiative, the Legacy Museum, the National Memorial for Peace and Justice, and Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church, among many others.

Chris' Famous Hotdogs

Chris' Famous Hotdogs

138 Dexter Avenue, Montgomery, AL 36104

A Montgomery staple. Chris' Hotdogs is a Montgomery institution and a fixture in downtown Montgomery for more than 100 years. As Montgomery's oldest restaurant, it has hosted many influential people including former U.S. Presidents. Check out the photos on the walls to see all the familiar faces who have graced their booths. On Jordan's first trip he was welcomed with a tray full of hotdogs and burgers in his lap. His light gray pullover will forever be stained with mustard and Chris' famous chili sauce.
