If you're looking for a sandwich around lunch time this is hands down the best deli in Montgomery - wins "Best of" awards each year. We never miss getting a sandwich here when we visit. Just check and be sure it's open if you're trying to go on the weekend.
Hamburger King
The "Nico's Taco Shop" of Montgomery hamburgers and dine-in. If you want a burger, don't miss this spot. Cash only, located in a small building off a side-street downtown. Best burger in all of Montgomery, maybe Alabama, maybe the world. The Hamburger King has made a royal decree of tastiness - you best abide.
Dreamland BBQ
Known for their hickory-smoked ribs, Dreamland is hailed as one of the best BBQ joints around. We love it.
Chris' Famous Hotdogs
A Montgomery staple. Chris' Hotdogs is a Montgomery institution and a fixture in downtown Montgomery for more than 100 years. As Montgomery's oldest restaurant, it has hosted many influential people including former U.S. Presidents. Check out the photos on the walls to see all the familiar faces who have graced their booths. On Jordan's first trip he was welcomed with a tray full of hotdogs and burgers in his lap. His light gray pullover will forever be stained with mustard and Chris' famous chili sauce.

Red Bluff Bar at the Silos
This bar is down by the Riverfront! Another bar within walking distance from the hotels.
Riverfront Park
Great park location downtown, with walking paths and some open space if you want to grab a coffee and get outside for a walk.
