FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is Black Tie Optional. Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length, or midi formal or cocktail dresses. Gentlemen can wear a black or dark suit and tie. No jeans please!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking all phones and other devices be put away and on silent/turned off during our ceremony so that all guests can be 100% present with us during this time. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want. Share your pictures/videos with us using the QR codes on your tables at the reception!

Question

Is this a kid friendly wedding?

Answer

We love and adore your little ones, however, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults only event with the exception of a few that will be a part of our ceremony. We encourage you to use this night as a fun date night! We appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 pm. Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow yourself plenty of time to park and find a seat.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP through the website. Thank you for understanding!

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

If you are able to RSVP as soon as you receive your invitation, that would be extremely helpful! We ask that you RSVP before October 10th. After that, unfortunately any unanswered invites will have to be marked as "not attending" due to our vendors' cut off dates.

Question

Where should I stay for the wedding weekend?

Answer

We thank you wholeheartedly for traveling to celebrate with us! Please visit our "Travel" tab for hotels and rentals in the area. Those listed with a block option are offering a discounted rate when you call and book under "Moore-Alexander Wedding".

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Of course! We ask that all guest please drink responsibly and do not drive if you plan on drinking. Please make arrangements for a safe ride home. Ubers, Lyft, and taxis all will have access to Pawleys Plantation for the wedding. We can't wait to celebrate accordingly!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Although your presence is the best gift we could receive, we realize some of you would like to know about a physical gift. Under the tab "Registry" on our wedding website, you will find all our registries in one easy place. We are registered at Williams Sonoma, Amazon, and Zola Honeymoon Fund.
