Once upon a time in August 2020, Meredith was out with friends at the Battery when she locked eyes with a tall guy in a Tennessee hat on his way out of PBR. Despite her snarl, Nick fought through the crowd to go win her over. Incapable of letting a bad opinion go unchallenged, Meredith stayed for one more drink. Two decisions that somehow led to a date the following day with Greek food, a Morgan Wallen debrief, and the first of many spirited SEC football debates. Six years later, Nick still thinks Tennessee is going to have a great season. Meredith still thinks she will convert him into a Georgia fan. They’ve both been wrong so far, but at least they’re right about each other.
