FAQs

The Wedding Website of Mercy Robinson and Max Harrell
We love you all and are so blessed to have you all in our lives!
Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

For our Texas wedding: Please RSVP by April 1st! If you are uncertain about the Thailand wedding, just RSVP what you think is most likely, then you can come back and change it if something changes.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

Yes please! If you know Mercy, she is a documenter by nature. Whether you use your phone camera, film camera, etc, she would love any photos and videos you take! Just remember to turn your phone on silent. :)

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our Texas wedding ceremony is completely outdoors. There will be restrooms available for guests to use as well as areas for children to enjoy. Our Thailand wedding is completely indoors and under a covered pavilion!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

ABSOLUTELY! There will be a "kids corner" with coloring pages and activities exclusively for kids and fun adults. ;) We would love for your entire family to join us! Please let us know if you're bringing your baby and we'd love to show you where you can change diapers. :)

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Welcome to Texas where it might be icing over and below freezing one day to cooking eggs on the concrete hot the next. :) We will watch the weather and keep you updated. Mid May weather in Texas varies between 75-80 F. In Thailand, September is rainy season, however the entire wedding is indoors and the reception is under a covered pavilion.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Texas - Garden Attire: Wear sundresses, floral prints, simple natural fabrics, ruffles, pastels, and breathable fabrics, linen tops and loose linen pants, etc. Crucial! Avoid stilettos, which will sink into the grass. Opt for block heels, wedges, flats or sandals. Suits in lighter hues, floral ties (optional), loafers or leather dress shoes. Blazer or sports coat with button down and cowboy boots are always acceptable. Thailand - Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. The event will be mostly indoors or under a covered pavilion.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

There is plenty of parking on the property for our Texas wedding. Please look for the parking attendant and follow his/her directions. It'll be between some haybales though. :) There is plenty of parking in the church parking lot for our Thailand wedding. You can drop off your party at the entrance and follow our parking attendant's directions!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We wish we could include everyone, and aren't able to extend plus-ones, but we truly hope you can still join us!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Amazon, Crate&Barrel, REI, and IKEA!

Question

Whom should I call, text, or email with questions?

Answer

Feel free to contact Mercy: 972-689-5770 or email mercynrobinson@gmail.com or Max: 817-733-5059 or email mharrell174@gmail.com with any questions!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Arrive around 10-15 minutes before 3:30PM if you want a good seat. ;) Or if you know me, arrive right when the wedding starts and I'll be arriving soon after that (IYKYK)

Question

Does the address lead exactly to the location?

Answer

No, it just a little bit past and the place to turn in to where the wedding is will be clearly marked and labeled!

Question

This wedding is really far away, is there a Buc-ee's on the way at least that I can stop at?

Answer

Yes, glad you asked actually in fact there is. Buc-ee's Melissa is on the way to the venue right next to a HEB in case you want to grab some freshly squeezed orange juice or chips and guacamole. Here is the google map link for your convenience. https://maps.app.goo.gl/FQcgLe6bNHz5Dafu6

Question

How long is the wedding?

Answer

We plan on starting around 3:30pm and ending by 9:00pm so that people with littles can drive home and get to bed. If you plan on leaving before then, we would love to hug your neck before you leave!

Question

What about dietary restrictions?

Answer

We will have gluten-free & dairy-free & nut-free options! Please let us know on your invite!
