Question
If you already know I'm coming to the wedding, do I need to RVSP?
Answer
YES! The RSVP is more than just if you will be attending the wedding. There are questions about other events occurring that weekend, and you must choose what you want to eat!

If we are local should we get a hotel room?
Answer
This is up to you! There are many hotels in Downtown Durham, and we encourage everyone to stay for the weekend to enjoy the city we fell in love with! If you do not get a hotel, we ask our guests to be safe by getting an Uber/Lyft home!

Where is the Ceremony and Reception going to be?
Answer
Both the Ceremony and Reception are at The Cotton Room in Durham. It is an indoor venue with plenty of parking!

Will there be parking at the venue?
Answer
Yes! The venue has lots of parking, and you can leave your car overnight. We will provide transportation to the afterparty and central downtown following the reception. Parking Instructions: When arriving from East Main Street, turn left into the Belt Line Station, and follow the Cotton Room parking signage to the parking lot between Cotton Room and the rest of the Belt Line Station. Please pay attention to no-parking signs and assigned parking signage. If you do not see the signs when arriving from East Main Street, turn left into the Belt Line Station. Then take the first right onto Morning Glory Ave. Then, take the first left onto Belt Street. Go to the parking lot area and turn left onto Franklin Street/Parking lot. Please park within/near those two buildings. Again, please pay attention to the no parking signs or assigned parking signage.

Whats the attire?
Answer

What time should we arrive?
Answer
Please arrive around 5 pm, which is 30 minutes before the ceremony, for ample time to find parking and your seat!

What should I bring to the Ceremony?
Answer
Just yourself! We will be having an unplugged ceremony (no cellphones/cellphone cameras out during the ceremony). Also, leave all cameras at home. We have paid for an incredible photographer so that you can enjoy every moment!

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Yes! You don't need any cash, but feel free to tip the bartenders if you feel inclined! Please drink responsibly. We will provide transportation from the venue to the downtown center for those staying in Durham. You can leave your car overnight at the venue and get a ride-share service/taxi home!

Will there be an after party?
Answer
Yes, we will be going to Surf Club afterwards! All are welcome! You can either ride the bus there or walk from your hotel!

Yes! It is one of the tabs on this website! We are registered with Zola, Crate & Barrel, Amazon, and Etsy. We also have a few fund registries with the Zola site. We ask that all gifts come from our registry since our condo has limited space!
