Greg and Danielle first crossed paths in 2015 while working at Mountain Valley Golf Course. Danielle was busy coordinating weddings, and Greg was behind the bar, serving up his signature drink, The Captain’s Choice. Despite Danielle’s best efforts (and some not-so-subtle flirting), Greg was completely oblivious. Fast forward five years to 2020—same place, new chapter. Danielle returned to Mountain Valley to plan an event for work, and Greg, once again, was pouring generous glasses of Chardonnay. A few glasses (and a few texts to her best friend, Jessie) later, Danielle decided to take matters into her own hands by asking him out for drinks. This time, Greg finally caught on. On Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 2023, Greg proposed at his parents’ house. He invited Danielle outside to check out a “light show” his dad had set up. But instead of twinkling lights, Danielle found a beautiful video Greg had made, asking her to marry him. With help from their fur-baby, Loki, she said YES! Now, 10 years after their first meeting, Greg and Danielle will return to Mountain Valley once more—this time, to say “I do.”
