Nicaragua has some of the best coffee in the world, this place is solid but, there are better ones outside of Granada to take coffee home with you if you'd like.

El Tiscapa Los Ranchos # 2

El Tiscapa Los Ranchos # 2

Paseo Tiscapa, Managua, MN 11126, Nicaragua

We recommend this place if you can make it to Managua for a lunch or dinner. They have great steaks, fried red beans, chicken and fish.

ZacateLimon

ZacateLimon

Another favorite spot in Managua. They have great soups and salads, a great brunch, and chocolate cake.

Fabrica de "Chocolate Momotombo"

Fabrica de "Chocolate Momotombo"

Managua, MN 14034, Nicaragua

This is my favorite chocolate shop in Nicaragua. It's in Managua though. They also have a kios in Managua airport if you want to take some home.

Apoyo Lagoon

Apoyo Lagoon

Nicaragua

A beautiful spot to spend the day drinking and swimming and being merry. This location feels isolated because its inside a dormant volcano crater. There are many spots to eat and drink in the area. We recommend Laguna Beach Club where you can bring in a cooler of food and beer, or if you want they serve them both. Also on your way there we highly recommend stopping on the top before going in there is a hut that serves guirila's, a sweet corn tortilla served with a cheese.

Mombacho Volcano National Preserve

Mombacho Volcano National Preserve

Granada, Nicaragua

This is a good little adventure if you have a few hours and want to get out of the city. It's an active volcano but it's not open like Volcano Masaya but its a beautiful reserve, and it has some great views of Granada. Prices are around $20 per person.

For all the days along the way
