WE'RE GETTING MARRIED

Ian and Mercedes met during the summer of 2013, right after Ian graduated from the University of Delaware. Their first date was at a restaurant called Iron Hill down on the riverfront, where they literally sat and talked for hours, while watching the water flow at the Christiana River. Well, Mercedes talked for hours but that was okay with Ian apparently because he stuck around long enough to ask her to be his WIFE!

Ian and Mercedes were on their annual family vacation. It was such a beautiful Sunday afternoon, Ian decided to go parasailing. They laughed and talked while watching all of the other groups go before them. Finally, it was their turn and boy were they scared, but once they were up in the air everything seemed to fall into place. It was so peaceful. Ian had a go-pro camera to take their pictures. Ian asked Mercedes to hold it while he was reaching in his pocket. As she turned around he was pulling out a ring box. Once he asked her to marry him she cried and screamed "YES," and they were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
