Elijah and Mercedes meet when they went to school together at a little private school at 10 years old. Their families were close, and they both had friends in a close circle. Mercedes would go to Eli's basketball games and go over to hang out with Eli's sister, Briana. They grew up close, but by high school they ended up going to different high schools and stopped talking. After high school, Mercedes had moved away, and Eli was still in Albuquerque. About 10 years later, Mercedes reached out to Eli on a random day, and theyve talked everyday since then. Mercedes moved back to Albuquerque, and since then they've been together 5 years and have two beautiful girls. In 2024 Eli proposed to Mercedes and the rest is history!
