Mercedes decided that her first and best friend couldn't be her sister since she's the youngest of two older brothers. That means the woman who knows her best and whos always been by her side is her one and Only Mother. Christine has been Mercedes' "rock" for the longest time. Always being by her side through thick and thin. You could say that the truth of their connection was really tested when Christine and Bobby (father of the bride) moved 500 miles south to Lakeland Florida and just after a few short months, Mercedes packed up and moved to be with her best friend. Thankfully so, that connection helped lead to the happy couple. Thanks Mom!
ARIEL CLARK
Bridesmaid
Ariel Came into the family when she married the oldest brother Mercedes has, Chris. Mercedes has always felt a special connection with Ariel. Though they may have had their hardships, in the beginning, they've come up for the better on top. Ariel has always been someone Mercedes can have a random chat with in the middle of the night. Talking about anything under the sun. They tend to bond over their common love for Nintendo. Always down to face off in Mario Party when they get the chance. Ariel was an easy first choice for Mercedes as a bridesmaid. And boy, did Ariel jump on helping Mercedes plan everything. She even helped Mercedes find her Baker who is providing the lovely couple's cake for the evening. We hope you get the chance to get to know her and share a laugh and a meme or two.
ARIEL HICKS
Bridesmaid
Ariel, Barry, and Mercedes all went to high school and graduated together. Making Barry and Ariel high school sweethearts. They parent the very pretty Flower Girl, Lillian, and her littler brother Hunter. Ariel has always been someone Mercedes can bounce ideas off of. They can chat about home decor, mental health, or even 90's cartoons they both watched as kids. And everything in between. Ariel has quite the spunk and not afraid to be herself. She's definitely not afraid of what others think and it's always been something Mercedes admires about her.
MATTHEW SCHROEDER
Best Man
Since the day he was born, he has been the Timon to Daves Pumba. The peanut butter to his jelly, and the sidekick to some great adventures. Matt has always been Daves best friend since he took that first living breath. There's obviously no denying that after spending two minutes with them in the same room. Just wait. Matt has always encouraged Dave to "do better than you think you can because I know you can" Matt has been there to support and guide Dave through some serious life moments growing up, even being youngest of the family, he is and will always be his advisor. From moments of stupidity (happens quite often they would say) to some great ideas. Matt is always there saying "Screw it! Let's see how this goes!" Matt is the life of the party where ever he goes.
KRIS LOCKO
Groomsman
Kristopher Locko has been by the Grooms side for at least 6 years now. He is always there when Dave needs him, whether it's just to meet for lunch on the bad days when he doesn't want to talk or those occasions where Dave just needs to vent. He is ALWAYS there for Dave. The two randomly met at Target one day while Dave worked for Tech and Kris in electronics. Kris was helping someone and Dave just sat back and watched him go over everything perfect and flawless. Dave asked him if he ever thought about working in Tech and Kris jumped on the idea. Since that day they have been the best of friends. The two have some hilarious adventures and some pretty serious moments shared amongst each other. Dave is beyond grateful for him to be in his life
MIKE FRAILEY
Groomsman
Mike and the groom started this friendship some years ago, meeting while working at.. you guessed it, Target! Many video games and meme conversations later they soon became close friends. Enter a random pool hall that became a staple for their Saturday nights and from there it was history. Mike has always been one to be quick with his clap-backs and you really wouldn't expect it when you look at him. He is the Grooms oldest friend coming in at the ripe ol' age of 87! Just kidding, Mike is only a few years older than the groom but that grey hair will fool ya! All jokes aside, Mike has always been there for Dave anytime he has needed an ear, giving great advice and a great joke to cheer him up in those bad days. It's no surprise to be seeing him standing by Dave's side in the big day.
BARRY HICKS
Bridesman
Oh boy, Oh boy! Barry is the second oldest Brother to Mercedes. Also confused in school as her Twin Brother. Clearly, that's just crazy talk. Barry is also the husband to our other bridesmaid Ariel. He's always been one to step aside and let Mercedes be herself. whether it be what she's saying or even if she was beating up buying in school. He always let her be her own person and stepped in if she needed him to, not that he ever had to but... ;) Barry is also the proud father of our beautiful Flower Girl, Lillian. This wedding must be a bittersweet day for him. Seeing his baby sister and baby girl walk down the aisle. If you see him during the reception, jump in and say Hi and talk about the streams

Groomsman
The truth is, Chris wasn't an original pick when Dave and Mercedes started assembling their Wedding Party. However, he turned out to be an easy choice later on. Dave met Chris in the summer of 2020. And it seemed like an instant connection of friendship and soon to be family that seemed like one of the ages. Chris's laid-back personality makes him very easy to talk to and that's what Dave would say is his best quality. Not to mention Chris has been a great support system in helping Dave quit smoking. Teaching Dave about vape mods and juices along with how to make his own flavors. Wild! If you happen to run into Chris during the festivities, talk to him, without a doubt, you'll find an easy connection full of laughs and inside jokes with him.
BOBBY HICKS
Father of the Bride
"Save the Best or last" as he would say. Bobby is a strong, hard-working man who helped raise the bride into the fun, adventurous and downright sassy woman she is today. If you get the opportunity to have a few words with Bobby during the cocktail hour, you'll be quick to learn that Mercedes is the spitting image of him. Basically a clone! They say your first daughter takes after the father and boy, isn't that the truth. The bride would like to give a warm and wholesome thank you to her father for molding her into the strong, successful woman she is today. Without a doubt, Bobby, along with Christine has worked hard on the raising of their children and today marks a special bittersweet day to finally see the last and youngest child finally take that plunge and set off to be married.
