Portland Headlight & Fort Williams Park
Did you ever want to see the iconic New England lighthouse? You can find it in Cape Elizabeth, ME! It makes a great day trip and is adjacent to Fort Williams Park (for those of you who want to wander abandoned New England military forts) which gives a number of forts to explore.

Wander/Shop in the Old Port
Downtown Portland is known as the "Old Port." Filled with local shops, restaurants, and bars, this shopping district is right next to the ports of the city and if you wander a little ways down its cobblestone streets, you'll wander upon the local fisheries for the true New England experience.
