Alec and I have grown up in the same area, and have never meet before until we both swiped right on February 14th, 2020. We started talking then hanging out, and eventually on March 30th, 2020 when the whole world was behind closed doors; Alec asked me to be his girlfriend!

It’s not the most extravagant event, but it was perfect just the way it went. I wasn’t supposed to be home for Christmas, but my flight to Mexico was canceled on the 24th so I was able to spend Christmas with Alec and his family and I would leave for Mexico on the 27th. After a long day of going to his mom’s then traveling to his dad’s, we finished gifts and we were getting ready for dinner when Alec told me we needed to talk. He was all serious and my only though was oh shoot what did I do now?! Alec then took me through the garage and out the side door and said, “I really didn’t know how you wanted me to do this but… (got down on one knee and pulled ring out of pocket) will you marry me?” And well the rest is history!
