Flight
This is the best airport to fly to. It's no more than a 15 minute car ride to the Gaslamp District which is where the venue and the hotels are. Other options include Long Beach Airport, John Wayne Airport (Santa Ana), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). These options are at least 90 minutes away from San Diego.
