Let's do this thang!

Well friends, back in our youth, we attended high school together.  I attended the much superior West Bend West, while Dominic settled for West Bend East.. but don't hold that against him too much. I had been West's dance team captain and through that met Dominic's girlfriend at the time. I knew of Dominic through her and thought he was a little cutie..but let's be real he was a freshman and in a relationship, and I was a senior on my way out with nothin' holdin me back! Fast forward to 2018. I was back home visiting from La Crosse. We both caved and joined Tinder and matched. After I slid into his DMs, we met up and talked for hours. Realistically, we didn't know if the long-distance would work out. To my surprise and to Doms, he came to visit me in La Crosse a couple of weeks after we met. I didn't have a car anymore at the time, so Dominic drove 3.5 hours each way to visit me. It did not take us long to realize that we were a perfect match. He was everything I needed and exceeded anything I could have wished for, and obviously, I'm awesome, so what's not to love?! We did the long-distance thing for 9 months before we decided to move in together. We thank God every day that we reconnected when we did. We had a lot of growing and learning to do before we were ready for each other and for our wonderful future. We are now proud parents of five fur babies and look forward to growing our family some more.
