We met at a Haunted trail in 2017, Tysen was an actor in the haunted trail that year. As for Meranda, she and a group of friends went to the haunted trail together. Meranda only knew a few other people there and was unfamiliar with the area. When Meranda got to the front of the line getting ready to go through she noticed a person in a clown mask (Meranda is deathly afraid of clowns) so you could only image how she was feeling at this time. Once Meranda finished going through the haunted trail she noticed that whoever was in the clown mask had followed her throughout the trail and back up to the front. Meranda's friends had left, and she was there with her brother and his girlfriend. Meranda went to help work at the front to collect tickets to let people in and noticed that the clown masked person was still hanging around and trying to have a conversation with her. Later that night when it started to get slower, and everyone was at the front talking to each other Meranda noticed the person that was wearing the clown mask started to take the mask off. Tysen had started talking to Meranda and joking around, Meranda was sitting on a ladder and Tysen was standing next to her, as they were joking around Tysen had tipped the ladder and Meranda fell straight into Tysen's arms as he told her he wouldn't let her ever fall.

The proposal happened on Christmas eve while we were opening presents with Tysen's family. Meranda had left the room which gave everyone time to get a video going, as she came back everyone was looking at her. When Meranda turned around she saw Tysen's knee hit the ground and say the 4 words that every girl can't wait to hear (Will You Marry Me?) We are so excited to celebrate this amazing love story with all of you!
